For the first time in Finom history, we've launched the leadership program 'Becoming FINOMenal Leader.' As we experience hyper-growth with an average team expansion of 40-50 newbies per month. Fasten your seatbelts – we're taking off 🚀
In such conditions, the role of team leaders is crucial. We aim to interact with people in an sustainable and effective way, ensuring everyone feels happy starting their workday. Our focus is on the essentials: motivation, communication, performance management, and self-awareness.
During a recent intermodule meeting, we delved into the topic of psychological safety. Happiness doesn't begin here, but it won't happen without it. Here are my secrets to fostering psychological safety within the team:
1. Clarify expectations.
2. Be transparent, honest, and sincere in communication (it takes courage, honestly speaking).
3. Believe in people – in their talents, best intentions, power, and the light within each.
4. Trust – think, act, suggest, decide. Trust that we're all in this together.
5. Make mistakes together – grant the freedom to err, correct, try, forgive.
6. Acknowledge each other's imperfections and allow everyone to remain a human.
7. Create space for human being with thoughts, emotions, experiences, personal life, and physicality. Sometimes, just give someone a hug. That's it.
Thanks to the wonderful facilitators Veronica Fernandez Mesias and Natalia Kotlyarova, who continually astonish with their wisdom and facilitation mastery. An incredible atmosphere, energy, and dynamics – 100% online magic!
